Literature: I reviewed the reader response journals (RRJ). You will need to look at the notes and ask me questions. I also reviewed this week’s literary terms: characterization, setting, mood, and tone. You are responsible for reading the short story “War" and completing the first RRJ. The Story is available on my website. In 3rd period I explained how to complete the word burrito for unit 1 vocabulary.
Literary terms: Students worked on the class collaborative document to define the term and provide examples. They also created a mini-poster. See me for a term and poster directions.
Punctuation: We discussed examples of comma and apostrophe usage. We completed lessons 76,77,78, and 89. Get the worksheets and see me for help if needed.
